Sessions

How a CognitiveComms session unfolds

Whether you book interview preparation or salary negotiation coaching, the rhythm is deliberate: brief thoroughly, rehearse under pressure, then leave with notes you can use the same week.

Working rhythm

Designed for hiring timelines, not open-ended programmes

Most clients come with a fixed interview date or an offer response window. Sessions are scheduled around that constraint. We do not sell multi-month packages that sit unused while your hiring process moves on.

Online video is the default so you can rehearse from wherever you are preparing. Hamburg meetings at our Ohlsdorf address are available when a face-to-face run-through helps.

Session flow

From intake to follow-up notes

  1. 01

    Written intake

You send the job posting, CV, interview invitation, or offer letter. We confirm language (English or German), format, and what success looks like for this engagement.

  2. 02

    Evidence or package briefing

For interviews we draft your evidence map. For salary talks we document your range, priorities, and walk-away points before any role-play begins.

  3. 03

    Live rehearsal

Timed practice with interruptions and follow-ups. Feedback is specific: structure, ownership language, pacing, and how you recover when a question lands awkwardly.

  4. 04

    Notes and practice plan

Within two business days you receive written notes and a short practice routine for the days leading to the real conversation.

Practicalities

What to expect on the day

Length

Rehearsal blocks usually run 60–90 minutes. Intake calls are shorter. We protect time for feedback rather than packing endless questions.

Materials

Have your CV, posting, and any prior interview notes open. For salary sessions, keep the offer letter available to reference numbers accurately.

Rescheduling

Hiring timelines shift. See our refund and cancellation terms for notice windows when interviews move.

Book around your interview date

Choose a consultation and tell us your timeline — we will propose session slots that leave room to practise afterwards.
