Evidence from real interview and offer work

These notes describe specific rehearsals, constraints, and outcomes. Names are shortened; details reflect the consultation booked.

“My first panel in Munich kept asking what I personally decided when the supplier failed. In coaching we rebuilt that story twice. On the day I still stumbled once on the timeline, but the ownership line held — and that was the question they returned to.”

Tobias H. · Supply chain · Interview preparation coaching

“Salary coaching gave me a range I could say aloud. The employer came in below it; having the fallback on remote days meant I did not freeze.”

Aisha N. · Finance · Salary negotiation coaching

“Application review cut a full page of soft skills fluff. The interviewer later asked about a metric we had moved to the top — worth the edit pass.”

Three rehearsals before a Hamburg panel

Lina booked interview preparation after a screening call that felt unstructured. We mapped five evidence stories against a logistics role posting, then ran two full panel simulations and one shortened warm-up the morning before.

The hardest constraint was language switching: technical questions in German, culture questions in English. Rehearsal included deliberate mid-answer switches so she practised restarting cleanly rather than translating sentence by sentence.

She later wrote that the panel still asked an unexpected compliance question she had not prepared — but the structure from coaching let her borrow constraints from a neighbouring story without inventing detail.

Countering after a verbal package outline

Martin received a verbal outline with base salary below his research range and a bonus that looked generous on paper. Salary negotiation coaching focused on separating base from variable pay and rehearsing a calm request to revisit base before discussing start date.

He did not get the full upper number. He did move base closer to the midpoint of his range and secured two remote days in writing. His reservation: he wished he had booked a day earlier — the response deadline left only one rehearsal block.
